展开一个新科技帝国!



经过几个月多轮商谈讨论后,终于达成协议;  我们,Big Apps Idea 正式投资 SAUCEink (www.sauceink.com), 新加坡首个电子杂志,完全以女性为主,内容包含生活质询,时尚,美容,旅游,娱乐和购物等等。



迄今为止,这电子杂志以有11期了。在短短12个月内,该公司是起源于新加坡。后续在菲律宾设立办公室。短介,SAUCEink也是Bloggys菲律宾会议,新加坡F1大赛2015年以及马尼拉服装节的制定媒体合作伙伴之一。

我一直相信科技就是未来的主要必需品。并通过这次的投资,我们也朴质了一条迈向更多亚洲地区的道路。 

我们最近发布实施的另一项数码,“移动网络业务的行略平台 - MoreRewardz” 是一个全功能于一身的营销工具,这将有助于零售企业增加销售,留住客户,提高现金流。 MoreRewardz 是个易于使用的网络平台; 和传统行销工具相比之下,MoreRewardz 可让商家省下大笔资金而效果倍增。 

我们都知道,营销的最佳方式之一是通过客户介绍及口碑。MoreRewardz最新推存的功能"Referral eCoupon System"!是个电子口碑工具,不仅超级容易使用,通过这工具,商家可以以酬谢为激发,让客户更有“理由” 的帮忙分享推荐商家们的生意给他们所有的朋友和家人! 

虽然MoreRewardz只发布没几周,我们依然参加了“MOB-EX 2016",是亚洲最负盛名的奖项之一的。我们也从数百名参加者脱颖而出,成功打入首5强,等代2月18日的首三名的公布。 

我们也自豪成为了亚洲咖啡展2016以及新加坡全国咖啡师/咖啡拉花/手冲/杯品师锦标赛2016的注定行略平台伙伴。  

说实话,我从来没有想到自己作为一个以女性为主平台的一部分,但我可以看到,在创始人的决心,好的生意模式,合适的人才,可以把这平台迈向另一个高峰。随着我们的共同信念和发展方向,这个联盟一定会让我们的业务狂增。

We have been discussing for several months, and after multiple rounds of negotiations later, it is finally a done deal; We, Big App Ideas formally acquired SAUCEink (www.sauceink.com), Singapore's first digital magazine entirely dedicated to women's lifestyle, fashion, beauty, travel, entertainment, and shopping. 




To date, the title has 11 official issues on digital newsstands. In the short 12 months, the company went from growing its roots in Singapore, setting up in Philippines, being part of Bloggys Philippines conference, being part of F1 Grand Prix 2015, partnering up with Manila Fashion Festival...

"I have always believed in the tech business, and through this digital media acquisition, we are developing plans to expand into the Asia region."


 
Our recent initiative, "a mobile web business solution - MoreRewardz" is an all-in-one marketing tool that will help retail businesses to increase sales, retain customers and improve cash-flow. MoreRewardz digitalised the popular stamp cards, promo packages and pre-paid cards into one single, easy-to-use web platform; saving them thousands of dollars on traditional tools.

We all know that one of the best forms of marketing is through word-of-mouth (WOM), and together with our latest development, we bring you the eCoupon Referral System! This digital WOM tool is not only super easy to utilise, all your customers will have even more incentives to recommend your business to all of their friends and family members!

In all honesty, I never imagined myself being part of a women’s platform, but I could see the determination in the founder. Good ideas can be converted into actual businesses, but it takes the right talent to sustain business growth. With our mutual belief being that technology is the way to go, this alliance will definitely benefit all of us from multiple business angles.

The power of referral

Every businesses need customers. In fact, no customer = no more business. Common sense.
 

Customers can be classified into 2 categories.

Category 1: Direct Customer

These customers are those who patronize you directly. They are the direct effect of your marketing and advertising effort.

To attract them is not an uphill task. A good promotion will lure them to you. For example, 90% off etc... Groupon (Deal site) brings in direct customers.


The problem with this category of customer is - It is very costly to acquire them. Take for example, if you run a Groupon deal "$40 dining voucher for $20" and 1000 coupons are sold. This means that the cost of acquiring each customer is [$20 (discount)-20% comms to groupon] $24. 

How often can you run such deals to attract more of these direct customers? When they come, be sure to exert all measures to retain them.

NEXT....

Category 2: InDirect Customer

These customers are those who patronize you indirectly, mostly through referral (such as
word-of-mouth). It means, your customer tell their friends about your business, and their friend patronize you.

However, what will motivate your "Direct Customers" to refer their friends to you? What are the possibilities? In fact, research shows that most customer are willing to try out businesses referred by their friends. The cost of indirect customer are so much lower but also the rate of being referred is so much lower as well.

The challenge now is how to make sure your customer "promote" your business to them? Incentive is still the best motivation. But how? 

This is what I did for Expressprint

Every time when my staff serve a customer, they will ask them to scan a QR code or key in our campaign address in their web browser (You can click this link to try), which will bring them to our campaign page (no need app or extra device).

Customer will then register
Customer create an account or sign in with facebook / google
After signing in, customer will see a Yellow bar that says "Refer-A-Friend and get exclusive rewards".

Expressprint is giving their friend a discount and when their friend redeem the discount, they themselves will get a rewards (free GV movie ticket) as well.

moreREWARDZ.com automatically keep tracks of the status of the link. When their friend redeemed from the link, the referrer will instantly get notified with a pop-up when they sign into their account.
